1. ALL LITERATURE AND PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS MUST BE PACKED SEPARATELY FROM OTHER CARGO. 2. Each case should bear a label stating the company name exactly as per the invoice. 3. All cases should show a unique number for ease of identification. 4. All cartons/boxes should be secured with plastic banding. BANNED GOODS AND DUTY PAYMENTS BANNED GOODS - Alcoholic drinks, playing cards, objects and literature which may be offensive to the Islamic religion (please feel free to contact us for further clarification). DUTY - Duty will be imposed by Iranian Customs on ALL goods not being re-exported after the fair. The duty for sold goods must be settled by the Iranian buyer. Duty payments for items distributed during the fair (literature/give-aways/samples etc) will be paid by Orient on your behalf, and invoiced to you after the exhibition. NB Duty charges are likely to exceed 300%. IRANIAN TEMPORARY IMPORT BOND A letter of guarantee (customs bond) is required from your embassy in Tehran. This enables your consignment to be imported into Iran on a temporary basis. If this is not available, then a local Bank Guarantee covering 300% of your invoice(s) value will have to be raised in Tehran. |
